Description:

(Uncategorized volcanoes erupted)A volcano eruption has been reported at the area of Mt Langtang in Rasuwa district on Thursday morning. According to Nepal Army personnel deputed at the Rasuwa-based Langtang National Park, they had witnessed a sudden explosion with smoke and flames at the area at around 10 am and subsequently informed to the NA headquarters about the incident. The location of the site is four kilometers northeast from the Mt Langtang. The nearest human settlement, the village of Linling Sherpa Gaun and Briding, lies at a distance of a day's walk from the area. A Nepal Army helicopter has also been sent to find details about the incident.
