Mild chaos prevailed at Ruia hospital in Tirupati on Thursday, after ten children who were administered antibiotic IV injections developed adverse reactions and had to be shifted to the ICU. The children, developed nausea, fever and shivers, but were reported to be stable by the end of the day. Two buses were involved in an accident early Thursday morning. At 7 a.m. on Princess Anne Road two buses were making a left turn onto Concert Drive. The one bus bumped into the other. The two buses were numbered 155 and 590. According to police, there was very minor damage, and the buses continues to their destinations. There were reports of students complaining of minor injures. Thirteen students have been taken to the hospital as a precaution to be evaluated. Bus 155 had 35 students on board, and bus 590 only had 9. No further information was released....

Indonesia raised the alert level Thursday for the Mount Agung volcano on the tourist island of Bali following an increase in volcanic earthquakes. The National Disaster Mitigation Agency said the alert has been raised from normal to vigilance. The country's geological agency recommends villagers and visitors stay further than 3 kilometers (1.8 miles) from the mountain's crater. The surrounding Karangasem district, an area of about 840 square kilometers (324 square miles), has a population of 408,000. At least 15 soldiers were injured in an explosion at a training field on Fort Bragg on Thursday, WRAL reported. The soldiers were all members of the U.S. Army Special Operations Command, according to WRAL.The conditions of the soldiers were not immediately known, but several were transported by medical helicopter to Womack Army Medical Center.
