Atlantic Portuguese man o'war have long venomous tentacles. Also known as the floating terror, they possess a potentially fatal sting and have washed up on beaches in Cornwall and west Wales. Authorities have been warning visitors to be aware that the creatures can kill. Mara Swift spotted one of the jellyfish last week at the south end of Newgale Beach in Pembrokeshire. Another was seen on a beach in Newquay, Cornwall, and a picture of it posted online. Twenty five people were killed and 57 others injured Sunday when a bus overturned in the southeast of the Democratic Republic of Congo, according to an official toll. The accident on National Road Number 1 caused "25 deaths and 57 serious injuries" according to the official toll which was announced on public television. Leonard Mutangu, mayor of the town of Kikwit, told AFP earlier that there had been 13 deaths and 64 injured in the accident involving a bus from a Congolese company heading from Kikwit to Kinshasa. A possible tornado or water spout touched down in St. Johns County Sunday night after 8 p.m. The National Weather Service reported a storm report of a tornado or tornado-like damage on 4th Street North in St. Augustine. News4Jax was told the the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office was investigating downed power lines.
